When, What & How to Post on Social Media

The 3 most common questions I see are:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • When should I post?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • What should I post?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • How should I post?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When you should post - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Follow your analytics! I know, the numbers can be intimidating at first, but there's a lot of good information in there. Make sure you check up again every week or so to make sure you're still posting at optimal times so you get the most reach!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What you should post - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You've already been reading your analytics for information on times, now look for information on your audience. You want to take a deep dive into your demographics and do some research on what's popular in that circle. Always track your posts and see what does best so you can keep with that theme!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How you should post - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Some people prefer posting by hand, and some prefer scheduling. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't make much of a difference either way. What does make a difference is being available to engage after your post gets published! The sooner you engage with people commenting on your posts, the more the algorithm is going to favor you.⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here are some tips to help you capture your audience's attention with you posts.

Tutorials & How-To's - Sharing key insider tips and tricks and teaching people how to do things within your niche is one of the most valuable things you can do! People love to learn. ⠀

Tweets & Phone Reminders - You can either share screenshots of your actual twitter and phone reminders, or use online apps to create spoofs. These are a great design to catch attention and share funny or important information!⠀

Quotes & Inspirations - Everyone loves a good quote or being inspired. Try finding things that tie into your niche to help gain the attention of your target audience!⠀

Before & After Posts - No matter what your niche is, you can do before and after posts for everything! Take pictures (or screenshots) before you start a project, and post them side by side with the after. ⠀

A good combination of these posts on your page is sure to start gaining traffic. Don't forget to have fun with it!
