How we give back to the community that supports us:
At Designed by Kelly, we believe in the value of giving back. We're constantly on the lookout for ways to give back to our community through donations of time, services, and financially.
On this page, you'll find some of the many ways that we've given back to our community. Our commitment to our community extends way beyond our design work. We are always actively seeking out opportunities to partner with local charities, small businesses, community events, and more. Contributing to local community events and initiatives that promote positive change is out way of helping to make a meaningful impact on not just our community, but the world as a whole.

Kingwood Library Workshops
In 2025 Designed by Kelly offered a monthly fun, interactive workshop at the Kingwood Library called "Building a Brand: How to Build and Design a Business." It teaches participants how to build a brand from the ground up using Canva.com. Whether you’re just starting a business or looking to refresh your current one, this session will walk you through the creative process of building a cohesive brand—no expensive software required!
Participants will learn how to define their brand identity, choose the right colors and fonts, and create basic marketing materials like a logo, business card, and flyer. The class will wrap up with a 30-minute live design session where attendees receive professional feedback and hands-on help from the instructors.

89.3 KSBJ
In November of 2025 Designed by Kelly joined 89.3 KSBJ as a Business Impact Partner through monthly support.

We Care Connection
In March of 2025 Designed by Kelly teamed up with We Care Connection based in St. Louis, MO offering underprivileged students ages 14-18 a no cost online course on How to Start and Market a Mock Business. Over a period of six online zoom classes, they learned how to name, brand, and maintain their mock business by creating basic marketing materials and a basic website using Canva software.

The Good Neighbor Connection
In October of 2024 Designed by Kelly in partnership with Pastor Bryant Lee of Higher Expectations Community Church donated a website to The Good Neighbor Connection based in Houston, TX. They partner with local Houston, Texas churches to help them serve their community for the Kingdom of Christ. They provide events, workshops, and collaborative efforts to help churches build and grow.

Heaven's Army
In January of 2024 Designed by Kelly made a donation to Heaven's Army in Cleveland, TX of a Social Media basket for a silent auction to raise money for the center. Heaven's Army is a ministry that is centered on reaching the lost. The assist people in the community during their time of need.

HTown Dream Center
In December of 2023 Designed by Kelly made a donation to HTOWN to sponsor their annual Christmas Drive. They help women, children and at-risk youth break the chains of oppression and poverty so they can experience the hope and freedom of Christ and begin to dream again.

TimMark Angels
In March of 2023 Designed by Kelly donated a website to TIMMARK ANGELS. They bring inspiration and encouragement through the written word and providing hope and help to financially and developmentally challenged children.

HTown Dream Center
In April of 2023 Designed by Kelly made a donation to HTOWN to sponsor the face painting booth for their annual Easter Eggstravaganza. They help women, children and at-risk youth break the chains of oppression and poverty so they can experience the hope and freedom of Christ and begin to dream again.

Blessings in a Backpack
In August of 2022 Designed by Kelly donated a website landing page to Humble Area Blessings in a Backpack. They offer weekly backpacks filled with food to needy families in the Humble, TX area.

NCHS Volleyball Team
In July of 2022 Designed by Kelly donated a t-shirt design and a $250 donation to Dig Pink Night for the New Caney High School Volleyball Team.

Transformation Outreach Center
In May of 2022 Designed by Kelly donated 10% of proceeds from the opening week of our online Canva shop to The Transformation Outreach Center. The Transformation Outreach Center is in Humble, TX the are a community, where the next generation of leaders will be encouraged, equipped and deployed for service.

In May 0f 2022 Designed by Kelly donated a branding package to Kausation Consulting in celebration of our 3 Year Anniversary. Kausation Consulting is a communications and instructional design firm focused on educational content creation of courses and eBooks.

In May of 2022 Designed by Kelly offered Five Days of Giveaways (a $20 Gift Card each day in the first week of May) in celebration of our 3 Year Anniversary.

MXC Photography
In May of 2022 Designed by Kelly donated a website landing page to MXC Photography in celebration of our 3 Year Anniversary. MXC Photography is located in New Caney, TX it is their mission to provide quality photography and videography that captures the moments that matter for any occasion including engagements, weddings, quinceaneras, graduations, newborn infants, family and more.

Free Canva Masterclass
In March of 2022 Designed by Kelly offered a free Canva Masterclass. In this course, we taught how to use Canva to create stunning graphics, the basics of design and how to create graphics that are as effective as they are beautiful. As well as how to streamline your workflow and get more done with Canva.

Immanuel Community Church
In May of 2020 Designed by Kelly donated 30 days of social media management to Immanuel Community Church and Moving On In Real Life as part of our one year anniversary celebration. Immanuel Community Church is located in Kingwood, TX. Moving On In Real Life is a military family healing after trauma and creating a happy, healthy life.

In May of 2020 Designed by Kelly donated a website design to Be Lifted as part of our one year anniversary celebration. Be Lifted is run by Kayla who is in an independent brand ambassador for Sanctuary Girl. Her goal is to send forth tangible sources of encouragement, inspiration, and light to every woman she encounters.

The Collaborative Fellowship
In May of 2020 Designed by Kelly donated a website design to The Collaborative Fellowship as part of our one year anniversary celebration. They are a nonprofit ministry that exists to strengthen local urban, inner-city churches, pastors and the church planters serving in under resourced communities. We recognize that urban leaders require training and resources that are contextual and designed to compliment the unique needs of their communities and the people they serve.
